w124 Rearview mirror and bracket.

The rear view mirror in my car is broken. I came to me like that. When O removed the rear view, the bracket came out as well.

How do I re install the bracket?

Thank!

You'll have to pry the bracket off the mirror and screw it back in place. If the threads are blown out then either use a larger sheet metal screw or a bolt with a washer and nut. Probably will have to hammer the metal back flat first for the mirror to sit flush if it pulled out.

I got it back it. Found a mirror on Feepay for 20 bucks. It looks like the PO's mechanic used smaller screws, as the actually broke when I pulled the mirror off.
