95 E300D, adjustable torque impact for removing glow plugs
I don't have an adjustable torque impact. Have done some searching but I might be having 'oldtimers' and must not be searching properly.
Which battery powered impacts have adjustable torque in the low range suggested for removing the glow plugs? Also, some youtube videos show heating up the glow plug til ' red hot ' with an induction coil. Seems a little whacko but has anyone else tried this? |

I've successively used a 3/8" Milwaukee battery powered impact to back a stubborn one out.

Impacts of any kind should never be used on glowplugs. The best way to remove them is to get the engine HOT, especially engines with aluminum heads as aluminum expands more than the steel of the glowplugs.
