Interior looks worn for that few miles. Notice the wear on the driver's side bolster. Arm rest doesn't look so great either.
Always the skeptic... |

Doesn't look too bad to me - although I think $4500 is about right if described accurately. Pretty nice looking sheet metal.
What I want to know is: Was it traded in on a Harley Davidson? Ken300D |

That interior looks like 55,000 miles to me..
I would email the seller, he just might take $4500. |

Somebody's gotta snatch that up ! I wonder if anyone on the forum will add it to thier stable? I wish I could, but I don't have the coin. From a 126 to a Hog? There's an interesting transition.

Went to an auto auction wednesday and saw one just like it go thru for $3000. It had 111k miles though. It was perfect! The interior was beautiful and so was the outside. Had cold air but the compressor grumbled when it was on. I bid $2000 but was outbid by another guy. Oh well.
Nice car here! I guess it is gone now. later,

I didn't feel like starting a new thread, but wanted to point out this car:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1839931019 Certainly is visually impressive. The chrome restoration is awesome. Be sure to check out the "More Photos", especially the front view and the dash! Ken300D Last edited by Ken300D; 06-28-2002 at 11:06 AM. |

I believe top speed is 105-110 mph or so for the w180 220S. Im sure it could comfortably cruise at highway speeds no problem.

Good luck finding a W140!
Those cars are truly awesome IMO. No matter what some may say about them being oversized and such. It rides like nothing else and is very quiet inside. I remember riding in one from Hong Kong city to the HK airport in a LWB S600. The car was so quiet and so comfortable that I was just amazed! (That was my first time in an S) The bridge (I don't know what it's called) was very wide but due to extremely strong crosswinds, cars were not allowed to travel on the outer lanes of the highway. The S 600 was so stable at close to 100mph. The interior quality is also amazing. As lovely as the new S is... the W140 has its own character. BTW, Bill Check your PM, I might have found something that could be of your interest!
