W126 Gen 1 body trim panel parts

Can anyone link me up with a parts diagram image of the Lower body trim parts for a Gen 1 W126? I need to replace some clips and would like to order the correct fasteners by part numbers. It looks like I need 2 types, the large plastic panels to the body and the small chrome to the plastic. Thank you in advance.

I came here looking for the same info. I can see the parts on the referenced post but am having a rough go figuring out which bits I need. The chrome strip (#11) on the left front fender has fallen off, there are lumps of rust in the back side of the trim and no plastic parts in either the cladding nor the sheet metal of the fender for whatever is missing to clip into.

Section 88-800 of the FSM explains how to remove and install the cladding. Unfortunately, it doesn't give a clear picture of what the clips look like although you can see the plastic sockets in the sheet metal. If you search "88-800 mercedes FSM", you'll find it on another forum. I didn't want to post a direct link, I'm not sure of the rules about linking to other forums.

Sorry it took so long to get back.

The tool I used is called 'pin pliers.' The following link has a pair pictured. Use a thin piece of plastic between the pliers and the metal to prevent damaging the body paint. Those fasterners can be vicious so expect to squeeze those pliers pretty hard.

The directions for removal of the plastic after the pins are unfastened are linked in the DYI section of this forum.

If I get involved in another such thread and go AWOL in the middle send me a PM rather than allowing me to slow you down, please.
