Are W123 300D and 300TD carpets Interchangeable?

Does anyone know if the carpets in a W123 300TD wagon and W123 300D sedan are the same? Obviously I'm not talking about the rear bed of the wagon but just the front and rear carpets. I'm pretty sure the front carpets are the same but not sure about the rear carpets. Can anyone confirm? Thanks?

They are identical. Floorpans are the same.

Post W123 Carpets

Interchangeable and not terribly hard to clean when realy grimy or oil soaked so never pass up an unworn bit of carpet .

Agreed. I have brought back some really nasty carpets from the junkyard and made them look great. My method:

-Dry vacuum
-Pressure wash (or strong garden hose)
-Degrease and shampoo
-Scrub
-Rinse
-Wet vacuum

It works wonders. The wet vacuum step particularly makes a big difference.
