'85 300CD for sale in Seattle

Just passing this along. I always pick up those free-bee car dealer magazines you see in grocery stores ect.
1985 300CD , Ivory with tan leather, auto, ect ect. for $3400.00 at Maharaja Motors in seattle. That's where I bought my SD a year ago, and it's been a great car. Don't know if this is an especially good price or not, but there seems to be a lot of interest in this model here in the forum.
They have a web site, but they don't show the car there. It's http://www.maharajamotors.com
When I was there negotiating on the SD, I was able to talk to a past customer who had bought a BMW from them about two years earlier. He was dropping the car off for oil change ect. He was happy with the car and with the service. They pretty much just deal with Benz's & Bimmers. (They do list a Rolls right now)
Just in case anyone is interested.
No, i don't get a commision

Rick,

Out of curiosity, why did the 300SD of yours that you bought a year ago from Maharaja need a new motor?

Oh yeah...Maharaja is the dealership on Lake City Way in Seattle, right? Correct me if I'm wrong.

The previous owner replaced the engine. Not sure why. I was always going to contact him to find out, but never did. Maharaja motors did the work for him, but they didn't offer any explanation, probably because I didn't ask at the time. I was just excited to find a car with a $5000.00 engine in it for $6500.00 I've got the paper work that came with the engine from Barrier Motors. It was a complete engine, with everything new on it, everything bolted on the engine, hoses, belts, injection pump, alternator, ect came with it. Plus it had all new front end parts, ball joints, tie rods ect. The PO apparently had a lot of other work done to the car too, then probably got discouraged by what was left to fix, and traded it in. I've had to put about another $1000.00 in it since, but now I've got practically a new car.
Yes they are on Lake City Way.

Whenever I happen to go by Maharaja, I always notice that they've got some nice Benzes and Bimmers on their lot. I always wondered if they were a sketchy operation or not...now I know.
