Liqui Moly injector cleaning question

Do I necessarily have to clean the injectors by going through all this....

From my experience on a VW TDI, its amazingly effective directly at the injectors and probably negligible in the fuel tank.

That’s the best way to do it if you just pour it in the tank your are not going to get good results I just did it last week and it really works and I used two cans I pour one in a new fuel filter and run the engine like in the video

Follow those instructions to the letter. Use 2 bottles. Then, use Techron diesel additive in the tank.
