Air Filter Maintenance
Sorry guys for asking so many questions but there are soooo many things that I want to know how to do on this car...for those that dont know the car is 1972 220D
What do I need to do for maintenace of the air filter? The filter is oil filled!!! Thanx Mario S

I change my air cleaner oil when I change the engine oil, with the same weight oil. Pull the basket before dropping the engine oil and let it drain out on old newspapers. Owners manual has good pic of where the fill mark is on the housing.

There will be a lot of dirt in there, too, that needs to be removed.
