1984 300TD

I've been running Michelin Defender A/S 195/70r14 tires for the past 8 years, Michelin stopped making them in this size,I always trust Michelin for all my cars but recently had to switch to Yokohama for my Audi's ,Yokohama doesn't make a 195/70r14. I am hesitant to try another brand without a recommendation, any suggestions?

General Altimax RT43 if they are made in your size.

If available in your area, Toyo Japanese tires have worked well for me. Now have them on 300D, 350sl and more recently on E320.

There are over 150 tire brands marketed; however only one is acceptable for use on the subject car. When that brand & size are no longer available, scrap the car.
