Which Mercedes passanger engines fit into Mercedes T1 vans?

Hi, long time lurker and first time member!
I have a Mercedes 308D in need for an engine swap.



Currently there's a 78HP om601 inside it. Tbh, I'm okay with the performance but it's much easier to find a passenger om602 or om617 engine in great shape that the variant from a van. Are there any car engines that fit into the van without too much messing?
