I’ve been slowly swapping out the plastic to wood. Then stripping the lacquer off the wood for urethane to give it a warmer natural look. This is by no means a purest’s 240d… those photos are actually a few years old. Since then I’ve replaced the black plastic hood cowls with the chrome versions you see on 300ds and of course my grail piece was the manual climate trim in wood which heffe surprised with one day. Basically the trim on this guy is a cobbling of euro version gassers and fully optioned 300ds.
