Post Saw a nice gold 300SDL today...

I had to go up to San Francisco to pick up a chair that my mom bought, and I noticed on my way back to the 101 a pretty nice lookin' 300SDL...somewhere around Scott and Oak at around 7:45pm if memory serves.

Anyone on here? I know there's a few people from The City on the board...it's rare that I see an SDL even around here in Yuppievile, so I figured I'd ask.

One of those SDLs sounds inviting. I would like to stretch out a bit while driving. Also, some of the additional luxuries of the newer chassis would be cool. Plus I have a friend who is about 6'5" and we often drive around together in my 123 coupe, and he is clearly cramped.

Just a thought...

Mine's gold and I'm in the Bay Area but I'm in the middle of replacing the head. Maybe some kids took it out on a joyride

if it was gold, it could have been my wife coming back from palo

There are a bunch of 126s out here on the avenues, but I am about the only sdl that I know of.

Maybe it was you?

I know it was an SDL; I did a few double-takes before I was able to believe my eyes (that's how rarely I see one around the Bay Area).

Recognize this truck?

Never mind the weirdo standing next to the back end of the truck I don't know how he got into the picture...

I was returning from meetings in San Jose yesterday and shot up the 101, about 4 hours prior to you spotting the other, on my way back to the Valley. I drive down 2-3 times a month and have typically seen, surprisingly, at least 1-2 SDL's a month on 680 or 101.
