Unhappy 82 300sd turbo D tranny slip HELP!!!!!

hi guys..have a tranny slip (only from a dead start) weather or not the engine is warmed up or cold
this only happens in low and I simply have to ease off the accelaration and "goose it" untill she engages...then she runs through the gears fine
'I have replaced fluid and torque converter fluid as well with no improvement'
this has ben going on for ten k miles and i can live with it if i have to...it has not gotten progresively worse
any ideas?

The transmission in my 300SD was just the opposite: started slipping in high gear then progressed to slipping in 3rd and 2nd but never in low.

Prognosis: Eventually you will need a rebuilt transmission. Baby it as long as you can, you won't get any less for the core.
