'82 300SD fuel pump location - PeachParts Mercedes-Benz Forum

Where is my fuel pump located on my '82 300SD ?
The manual I have is inaccurate as to the correct location and before I start dropping the tank in my driveway searching for it I want to be certain of the position.

It is near the front end of the Injection Pump, near the bottom. The manual primer pump it integral to it, it is a mechanically driven pump. There is no pump in or near the tank.
