I am looking for a left door panel for a 1983 300SD. It is gray. The one we have now looks chewed up. Is there any way to fix it besides replacing it?

Iam sure you have thought of the obvious, you can take it to an auto apholstery shop, also every now and then interior pieces turn up on ebay, or there are Mercedes recycling centers (wrecking yards)

Check under Parts forum. A few days back a guy wanted to get rid of the whole doors and he said he had no buyers so he will trow it to junkyard. May be he can pry open the panel for you. Check dont waste your time. I am not sure on his car I think it was 123.
