Picture of Hose Routing on front of 603.970?

While replacing some of the hoses (EGR, vacuum) on the front of my 350SDL (603.970) I found some likely have been replaced prior ... now I can't tell which portions were black rubber and which were the small diameter nylon that interconnected between the pieces of black rubber ...

Does anyone have a photo or diagram they could share with me ... I can make it work several ways, but would like it to be stock for looks and it also seems like there are clearance issues?

I can't tell much from the CD-ROM, unless I have missed the location somehow.

Thanks!

I think the vac supply hoses all meet at a five-way T at the front of the engine. The supply for the servos for the EGR and air recirc (if you have it) run off to the passenger side and the supply for the climate control and tranny control run off to the left side.

Vacuum diagrams

Which manual do you have, I have the model 126 manual on cd and the diagrams for your car look fairly descent, Click the engine manual, In the main function group click section 07.1 diesel injection system-turbodiesel engines, then click the sub-function group more arrow until you get to assembly jobs 500, click 500 vacuum circuit diagrams-turbodiesel, it shows the layouts for Federal and California.

Let me know specifically which area you need a pic of.
This shows the area at the front passenger side of the engine.

Jim, the 9.5(!) year old subject line says 603.970 but post #4 is about a 603.971.

LOL

I'm getting old. I did not even pay any attention to the posting date on the original post.

92 300SD vac problems

I want to thank those who have tried to help me with my vac problems. i'm still learning how to navigate this site and often get lost before i get back to follow my post. My problem is bigger than a vac problem it's a starting problem but since I know the vac routing isn't correct I thought I would start there in case that's affecting the starting problem. The local foreign car service has no one familiar with this engine and knows of no other 603 engines in the area that I could look at. I have the diagram posted in this thread but from the description on the diagram can't locate the units on the engine. Like where is the switch over valve .I'm going to try to get some pictures of my problem areas and see if I can figure how to post them here. If I can find this post again. Don't hold your breath.
