Question Shocks on a 190D 2.5

Hi there i have one of my front shocks that just leaked a massive amount of oil i think it needs to be replaced
the question here is are the shocks on a 190D 2.5 the same rating as the any 190E??? from that year of course (1986)

I think so - what's important is 201 chassis. I suggest you go to thebenzbin.com, ************************, or germanstar.net. they'll guide you to the right part. I just changed them on mine. Be prepared for the front end to ride about 2 inches higher (may consider installing the rears too). get bilsteins. The front took 2 hours for the first strut, 1 hour for the second one (experience counts )
