I was watching a friend change the points in his gas Mercedes at work today. Marty, a mechanically uninformed friend wandered over and we were discussing the differences between the gas Mercedes and my diesel Mercedes. Marty finally blurted out, " Oh, I get it, diesels are pointless!"

What a wonderfully ambiguous turn of phrase.
