OM602 Motor/Engine Mounts

I have done a search in the archives but have just not been able to find the relevenet information and I'm hoping someone else has some experience to share.

I am replacing the motor/engine and tranny mounts on my new to me 300D 2.5Turbo. From what I have seen looking at the motor, and the detailed parts book it seems very straight forward, almost too much so. My questions...

- Are there any engine shocks like the OM617? I can't see any.

- Should I loosen both motor/engine mounts at the same time? or one side at a time?

- Will there be enough travel for the motor when using a jack to lift the motor? How much room will I need?

- When jacking the motor, are there any parts in the drivetrain that would be stressed?

Thanks in advance for all replies and insight,

Mark

- There are no engine shocks.

- Do one side at a time.

- You only need to lift far enough to pull the mount out after the bolts are removed, and insert the new (taller) mount.

- No, you only need to lift an inch or two, and nothing should be stressed. It's a fairly simple job.
