A nice simple question--no room for debate,sorry--what is the correct size wrench for the drain plug of the oil pan on a '82 240D? Thanks!

Would you be using a 6 point wrench or a 12 point wrench? Who said there was no room for debate! He He. It's 13mm on my car.

Yes, it would be a 13mm wrench, also the same size of wrench you would use to get at the oil filter.

A 1/2" AF is a neater fit if the plug is damaged
