Are you sure the footwell actuator's vacuum leak will affect the door locks?

actuator vacuum leak

it is one of three actuators that work when the heat is on.the other two work as they should.i have no footwell heat when the heat is on .also when heat is on door, trunk and cut off to engine is lost.take control off of heat and all works normal.i discovered this by reading previous posts on this site.

Are you talikng about the vacuum actuators or about one of the five "famous" valves behind the ACC.
There are places that sell the rubber diaphragm for rebuilding the vacuum control valve that is linked to the flap for vents etc.
The 5 famous valves are about 25 bucks each. I have extensively written with photos about the ACC problem on 1985 300D turbo. Do a search on MVK and ACC. You will get the idea.

Hope this helps.

Have you tried calling Phil at Fastlane. The 800 number is listed and he has been really helpful for me in the past in researching parts.

Does anyone know can you replace just diaphrams in this actuator like you can in the doors?
