145K miles. Rough idle and injector knock at start up. Once warmed up idle is sometimes quiet and normal, most times it is rough with the knock though. Pre and large fuel filters have been changed. Injector pump delivery valve seal replacement to injector lines made it worse.

Is replacing the delivery valve seals on this diesel much different than on a gasoline MB? I'm wondering if the tech fouled up on mine?

I have heard these engines are subject to some problems. Maybe take it too the dealer or a local benz shop and have it looked at. I don't know if these cars are warrantied for this or not.
