Quick and extended glow plugs
 

Does anyone out there have any experience with the Bosch 'guick and extended' glow plug system? I live in Ottawa and am wondering if they will make a difference this winter when the temp. gets down to -40. Thanks

I installed the kit plugs in my daughters 240d and it starts much better. Of course I am not in such a cold area as you but I would bet you would really see a difference. I did not use the new relay, just the new plugs and wires and disconnect the ground and they work great. I didn't even change the fuse to the 80 amp one. Which might be a good idea. All the folks I talked to around here did it that way. Good luck
