Check my reply to your similar post.

To remove the guide rail, locate the threads on the pins that hold the guide rail in place. The threads are visible from the front of the engine. There are two.

The manual says to use a slide hammer to remove the pins. You can make one out of a looong bolt that threads into the pins with a weight along the shoulder of the bolt that you can slam towards the front of the car.

The other way is to get a bolt that matches the threads and a stack of washers. Thread the bolt into the pin such that it bottoms on the washers, not the pin. As you turn the bolt, it should extract the pin. Add washers jut before the bolt bottoms on the pin if the pin isn't loose enough to pull out with your finders. Should. It's only worked on one of two bolts everytime I've tried. Sigh...

Lemme tell you, I've been tempted to use a crowbar against the bolt since the threads in the pins are pretty beaten up by the time I give up.
