300SD Question
I will start by saying that I did not perform a search because I was not sure what key words to use for the search. I have a 1982 300SD with 140K on it now.
Here goes, I purchased a new rear window seal and had a glass man install it. While he was re-attaching the opera lights in the back near the back windows, he incorrectly connected the wires. This caused the number 15 fuse to blow. This controls the interior lights and the antenna. I found the reason the fuse was blowing and corrected the problem. Prior to this incident, when I shut the car off by turning the key all the way counter clockwise, the factory radio would remain playing and the antenna would stay up as well until the key was pulled out. After the incident I described above, the radio no longer continues to play after the car is shut off nor does the antenna remain up. My question is this. Does anyone with an SD have a factory radio that continues to play until the key is removed from the ignition? And is there another fuse that I need to replace or some switch that needs to be reset? Regards, Rob
