Just to confirm what my archive search found:

The driver's door lock will not lock or unlock with the key. It has been acting up a little for about the last year. It sounds like the only way to repair it is to buy a new door handle/lock assembly for about 150.00 to 200.00.

Am I on the right track or is there a more economical solution to the problem?
