Im getting ready to sell this 1984 300d and I could use some input on what shes worth. This is my first attempt at posting photos so hope it works. She has 230k and seems to be in good shape. Appreciate your input.
Thanks
Hillbilly

Thats a tough question as it depends on MANY factors. Looks pretty clean for the miles but I can see the seats are a little worn. Whats the paint like? Any rust? How bad? Rust can be a big deal. I paid a lot of money for a truly rust free car as there simply aren't any where I am and bringing a car with a little rust on it into NE will make it worse in a hurry. Any leaks? Original motor? Trans? Documentation? Receipts for work? Whats it need? CC work? etc. Depending on issues I would say $4000+ if the seats are the only issue and it needs little else now or in future. If there are issues, AC, Trans, frontend, leaks, etc. maybe under $1000 if the issues are combined. Pretty big range. I would say @$2k for what I can see and make assumptions about. RT

I'd pay 2k just by looking. I'm kind of a cheap bastard though. Good luck

$4000+? $3000-$4000? Where are these prices coming from? It doesn't have low miles, and the interior looks prety worn. It's a $2000 car.

Also I will entertain offers of $2000.00 if anyone is interested. It does not have any rust whatsoever. It runs like a scalded dog after take off. The trans shifts great. It seems to have a slight vibration around 60 mph. I think just a tire out of balance since it had been sitting for a couple of years. The engine was replaced with a used engine but I have no documentation. Will make a great car.
Thanks

check for body damage too

I think the paint is a different shade on the front left door and fender. If this is so, the car was probably hit there. Beat him up on the price for that too.
