Here is a pic of my dad's '85 300SD [Cali Edition] and my '97 E300....

Dang they sooo purrdy clean. [yes, my hood was open in that pic]

Ya'll both have very beautiful cars. I especially like the 8-hole rims on your dads SD. It also looks like the headlights were upgraded to the 86+ headlights. By the way, if you didn't notice, your bottom passenger foglight appears to be blown out.

Ya know, my old Dodge Power wagon is getting very rusty, but the mechanicals are all rebuilt. Wonder what the wheelbase of my 300Sd is....................(Not!!)

Yeah, it is real. See the aformentioned thread for details if you want. I have been driving it to work off and on for a couple months. I will give it its first real snow test today.

This 1985 300D Turbo has over 258,000 miles and going strong. Other Mercedes I have owned in the past include a 1970 220D 315,000 miles(sold) and 1974 240D 331,000 miles (sold).
