these have been sold for years, but mostly in Europe. I am pretty sure it is German...

When I was selling parking lifts for your home garage in the early 90's, I set up a booth at car shows and a guy was trying to hawk these. I don't think he got anywhere either and we both quit.

They look scary as hell, but they are strong and work well. He said that you don't lose any fluids, but I dunno...

It just looks like that if it goes up even another millimeter, it would topple over onto its roof!

FWIW, you can buy a regular post lift for about $3000 which just mounts to your concrete floor!!!
