Diesel Compression tester
 

I called SS Sales today and they have more diesel compression testers in stock now. They ran out before I could get one a few weeks ago.

He said that the ones they have now are also KD brand and are similar to the last ones except they don't have an adapter for Cummins Diesels. They do have several other adapters with them including Mercedes. Cannot remember all of the ones he named but I only need the Mercedes one anyway.

He charges $30 for them now plus postage.

I bought one about three years ago and paid a lot more than $30. I don't remember exactly how much.

The K-D should be adequate quality for the DIY'er.

I have a KD I bought at NAPA about 7 or 8 years ago, and I think I paid closer to $50 back then. Good find! It worked fine for me on the 220D I had then.
