Injector Switch 83 300 Turbo to 80 300D

Can you exchange injectors between model years? I understand that tehre are two different sizes of heat shields which would indicate that there are tow different sizes of injectors but if you get the same size could you use them together?

Also anyone know the conversion from NM to ft lbs for torque.

The Turbo and non Turbo injectors are different.

Conversion factor is: 1.43 Ft/lbs. = 1 N/m
