Tempting, has some rust spots, but look pretty solid, interior is really nice.

The lot is asking 900 bucks for it...
apparently it needs a new exhaust and pulls to the right when braking..

Some how I get too tempted to buy these things, what do you guys think? Is it a deal? What could be wrong with it, I may take it for a test drive.

Figure brakes (hoses, caliper rebuilds, rotors, and pads) all round, new tires, who knows what condition the engine is in, and the rust can be fatal on a W123 --- You need to drive it before you get too excited!

However, if the rust is only minimal (the usual spots, rear fender well ONLY), and the engine/transmission are in good shape, this can be a very nice $900 car.

Bad engine, bad tranny, serious structural rust (check front fenders, water drains at dash, floorpan at the rear of the front seats, this is a parts car only!
