Emergency brake cable replacement/W126
Didn't find much with a search on this. Anyone replaced a brake cable on a W126? Everythjing else checks out, but my e-brake cable just went to the floor real limp like one day. It was sticking bad enough that I had to lift the pedal with my foot to get it to release fo rsome time before that. Figured the cable was fraying somewhere and finally let go. (Everything at the wheels was rebuilt shortly after I bought the car a year or so ago) Haven't looked at the repair Cd yet to see what's involved, but thought I'd ask here first to see if anyone has tackled the job, and how bad was it.
