96 E300d?
Found this beauty on ebay..
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=2401232845&category=6335 I called the guy, and he says he has enough service records to choke a horse, infact the last service was on 1/14/03 and the previous owner spent over $2,000. He claims it does not have any paint work and drives like new with no mechanical problems. I did a little haggling and it appears the least he will take is $12,500.. I am really tempted. Texas is quite a haul from my house at 1,600 miles one way. I'll see how the auction goes, it looks like a beauty. |

$12,500 doesn't seem like very much for a 1996 E300 diesel.
Looks like it's in terrific shape. Love the color.

Were the records for routine service, or has anything major been fixed? What's the longevity reputation for the non-turbo 606?

TurboDies...
That ride looks sweet! Defiantely looks like it was cared for insides an out. Although the headlamps look a little tired and faded, the rest of the car looks immaculate. First check the CarFAx on it before you get all fired up to get it. You never know.
