Talking Block Heater Installed .....Finally!

I took the ole '82 240D to the shop today and got a block heater installed. I am soooooooooo glad. I ordered a heater, $50.00, and the shop installed it for $55.00 (includes coolant). I suppose that was a good deal.

The ole '82 240D has been a "pain" to start in temps below 30F. I hope that this will "buy me some time" until I can have her rebuilt.

BTW, I have found several cars here in my local area:

'79 240D - 75,000 miles on rebuild- $800.00- firm
'81 240D - 170,000 miles- $1600.00- firm
'80 300D - 246,000 miles- $600.00 o.b.o

That's 'bout all I know 'bout 'em.
