Window weather stipping?

Is it easy to change the weather stripping on the front window, the rubber stripping on the outside doorsill? I think that is where the water is leeking into the passenger rear footwell. Can someone walk me through this repair? Thanks, guys.

It is highly unlikely to be the source of your problem. Any water entering anywhere goes to the rear footwell. Search here for water problems and you will find the causes for this problem reported in this prioritized order:

  • Front Windshield Seal
  • Drains Near Hood Hinges
  • Firewall Around and Under Battery Tray
  • Rear Windshield Seal
  • Sunroof Drains

All of the above should be eliminated first. The doors have their own drains and would require filling up pretty good before dumping into the cabin, at least on a CD anyway. Use the search, there are hundreds of posts on water problems.
