ACC Troubleshooting Guide - Soft Copy

Thanks to "Fisherman", we now have an electronic copy of the Climate Control diagnostic guide. It covers both early systems, up to 1980 (servo) and later systems, post 1981. It is in MSWord Format. The original document was a fax copy so it is not a perfect copy, so neither is the soft copy. However, I'll bet it is much better than anything that comes out of the CD.

Larry Bible sent me the original diagnostic guide, so he get's "authorship" rights.

I'll gladly e-mail it to those who request it via a PM.

Thanks Fisherman.........

JCD

Fisherman,

You're the best.

e-mailing this document beats the heck out of faxing it.

Two sent to already today

Jim

Yes please:
Great idea! Maybe I can now solve the problems with the '82 and the '90. So far the SDL is working fine, I have my fingers crossed that it stays that way!
Thanks in advance: Maynard

jcd,

Is your copy okay? It sounds like maybe it's not as clear as it needs to be. I think I know where the original is, if you need a cleaner copy. We have a killer copy machine here from which I could copy it and then mail it to you.

BTW, I don't claim authorship only distribution rights. Authorship thanks should go to the old IMPCO of Houston. They were later bought by Performance Products.

Have a great day,

Larry,

Thanks for the offer. The quality in not bad, but could be better.

I'll let those that receive it provide some feedback before we launch your killer copier and start mailing around revised forms.

Feedback please........

JCD

PS, I've probably e-mailed 10 of these in the last 2 days.....

To all:

Do me a favor,,,,,,,send me a private message with your e-mail address. It is much easier to keep track of who I sent it to.

thanks

Be patient

It'll be til Monday until I can send out e-copies of the troubleshooting guide.

I sent the file from work to home but it got lost in outer space.

I'll send them by Monday evening and sorry to those who were planning weekend work.

I'll tell you, I must have sent out about 50 copies.........Fastlane should be selling alot of parts as a result.....oh and folks will have MB's with the temp they want....I hope.

Good luck,

JCD

hey jcd,

i would like to help you out here with the distribution. if it's ok with you, Fisherman, and LarryBible, i would like to upload a copy of this to the Files section of my Yahoo group.

as a quick side note, i want to point out that the message board function of my group was disabled from the get-go because i never wanted there to be a conflict between this board and my humble little collection of links and files.

and again i want to stress that there is no need for MercedesShop members to join my group. all links and files are freely available to the public - you only need to join if you want to upload a link or file, as per Yahoo rules.

thanks,

Works for me

I'll e-mail you the file on Monday.

Fisherman,,,,,,,,,,,if you send Larry Bible your address in a private message, per his earlier e-mail, he can snail mail you a copy of the original bulletin. Then you can work your magic on a clean copy of the bulletin and send a copy to Joe Blowe and he can post it.

If this process works, e-mail me a copy as well and I can forward a higher quality copy to those that ask.

How's that for a idea.

JCD
