Mercedes Limo 300d 1958???
I have in inherited a (what I have been told is a) Mercedes Limo 300d 1958. It is in the middle of being restored and all of the original parts are there.
However, I cannot find any information on it. If anyone has any information or might have a suggestion on where I can find any information, please e-mail me. Thank you in advance!! morgandlaurie@yahoo.com

Congratulations. Folks here bicker about whether or not the quality of MBs declined from the 80s S-class to the 90s S-class and from the 90s S-class to the 2000s S-class. Anyone who knows the W189 knows it's never been the same

I'd buy a copy of Frank Barrett's "Mercedes-Benz
Buyer's Guide," which has a good bit in it regarding these "Adenauers." Always thought they were all gas, tho.
The MBCA club magazine "The Star" did a big photo feature on these cars not too long ago. Always liked the one in the Billy Wilder movie "One, Two, Three" set in cold war Berlin circa 1960.
