someone know how to get my 280SE -83 conveted with a -88 300D engine to show RPM with 280SE 6cyl rpm tachometer? on my diesel engine of course.. =)

or do i need to put a tachometer from a 300SD with 6 cyl diesel..?

As an aside, does the 300D tach/clock include wild electronics that can't work on my 240D wiring harness??
