98 e300 turbo diesel

I need to know how to remove the compartment between the radio and the bottom glove in the center dash. A friend has dropped her ring between the two and we need to get it out.

Any advice would be great!

thanks,
Andrew

Can't answer your question, but is this your car? If so, congrats!

Wink 98 turbo diesel

I wish it was my car... I would give up my Eurovan in a heartbeat for it.

There has got to be a way to just "pop" that compartment out with breaking anything...
I'll find out how it's done...

Maybe it will be my car one day!!!

thanks,
Andrew

You need to ask this question over in the Tech Help section, since it is not Diesel specific. There are several techs who monitor that forum and will be able to answer you right away, but we don't often see them over here. I would help you, but I've never had to remove anything in that area.

Andrew, that must be the simplest method for boosting the value of your car - diamonds in the dash.
