Help! Oil pressure source?
I am going to install a bypass oil filter on my 1980 300d, and I need a oil pressure source. Is there a place on the block that I can tap into besides the oil filter housing? If not I will have to tap into the oil filter housing where the oil pressure gauge fitting go's.GOD BLESS Matt (SD,CA)

One thing to think about is that the current oil filter has two parts. One's a full-flow, while the other (bigger, usually encased in metal) is a bypass filter unto itself.
Just something to consider
