Horn wiring question - 1983 300SD
I'm almost done with the Crime Guard REC-11 keyless entry installation on the 1983 300SD.
Have all the locks working through the auxiliary actuator in the driver's door, and the four indicators flashing once/twice (lock/unlock). Have the cabin LED nicely installed also. Routed the programming switch into the ash tray. The last thing to do is to tap into the horn circuit to get the one/two honks working. Bench testing confirms I have the signal being issued by the brain to the horn wire. My question is which of the wires on the 14 pole connector under the steering column powers the horn? ETM says it's the black/yellow/pink one, but there is no such thing. Any ideas anyone, before I start testing every wire? Thanks. P.S. Some of this is already on my web site, and I will complete tthat pictorial when I find that wretched wire! |
