This is strange but hopefully you guys can teach me (like usual).

My '85 TD has this occasional wierd thing happen. I get in the car, turn the key, wait for the light and go to start it and its dead. Wiggle the wheel, wiggle the shift handle, etc. Still dead but the battery is up and all the power is there.

I typically wait for about an hour and presto.....she fires.

This happened about one year ago but now it has re-occured three times this month.

What gives?
