300TDT owners - coolant leak inside
Coolant leaks down inside wall under carpet - towards passenger side. Can't get at hose connect to heater core from air intake grills. Leak in not from black plastic housing. 1985 California 300 TDT.

Most likely the heater core. Are you sure it is coolant and not evaporator condensation drain water?
The heater core is relatively difficult to get at on these cars but not as bad as some. Good luck, |

Larry - Thanks - it "looks" like I need to get at the connection to the heater core - which means getting in thr black plastic housing. Again - it looks like (under the glove box) that the housing mounts to the blower section and is pretty accessible - but I've read that the entire dash needs to come out. Is this accurate?
