Don't know if you have had the chance to really try out the high beams yet, but I can now say double WOW.

Not that I'm working swings, it is finally dark enough to use the high beams on the way home. Jeez, highway signs are reflecting out to nearly a half mile (yes the lights are properly adjusted) and the roadway directly in front is still illuminated. The low beams are easily as bright as the old high beams were. I think you will be extremely happy with the performance.

Congratulations. I'm hoping to get the depo euro's soon myself. Did you hook up city lights and how dificult was the conversion process. Also, I'd like to buy those old headlight assemblies from you but I'm in DC and won't be at the GTG.

I didn't get a chance to hook up the ciytlights yet. Mike, do I just solder a jumper wire from pin position (3?) to which position which on the side blinker? Which pin position is hot to get citylights? Thanks for your help, Mike, the lights are great.

You will use one of the new female sockets you bought, solder a 8" piece of wore into that socket. That will be placed into #3 of the new 6 pin connector you put to the new headlight assemblies. However, I can't recall right now which socket at the side marker I jumpered to. Easy way to find out, turn the headlight switch to #1 position and check for the hot wire with your DMM.

I heated the socket (side marked connector), slipped the wire out. Then I cleaned it, added my jumper wire, twisted tight and finally tinned the new, slightly large wire bundle before slipping it back into the socket. A little more heat and carefully placed solder, had the socket full, Be sure to let cool before letting go of the wire. If still too hot, the socket will fall right off and you start over again ( don't ask how I know).

Thanks, Mike. I'll just wire the #3 position and touch connect to the side maker connector with the key on to see which position lights it.
