'U-Wrench-It' find of the year

for me is a right hand side rear view mirror (manual) for only $5.50 and matches the condition of the rest of my car, not new but nice!

Junk Yard Treasure

My best find this month was the set of 300TD tail light lenses, in perfect condition, for $10 each !!!

Closely followed by the 300TD manual sunroof mechanism for $5.

One man's junk.....

Had I been in a position to snag that engine that went with that trans, I would have been all over it. No biggie though. My Euro is a treasure in itself.

After 5 months and visiting the auto wrecking yard nearly every week, I found a right rear view mirror for my 300CD for $9.99!

What made the search last so long is the fact that W123 "C" mirrors have a different base than the the regular W123's.
