Installed a New Trim Piece!
I installed the moonroof/power antenna/defroster/light trim piece from a 300D in my 240D. Old one was cracked. I disconnected the stupid ac switch since my ac is gone, and the wood covers right over it. I super glued it in place, which worked really well, looks real clean, and also super glued my fingers in the process. I tried all kinds of adhesives, and the superglue worked better than all.

Sounds like a good upgrade, Kyle. By the way, a little acetone will get rid of super glue on non critical body surfaces such as fingers. Of course never get either one close to eyes or mouth. The acetone if used quickly and sparingly can also be used to clean up excess super glue on the auto parts and pieces as well. Just be quick and careful.

Gorilla glue
is the best adhesive I have found for these kind of projects. Yes nail polish remover is acetone based and will help get your nose unstuck from wing sheeting while building RC aircraft. Don't ask!
Acetone used SPARINGLY and quickly shouldnot damage a painted surface. thebern
