Nice dog and car. I've been dabbling with the idea of both a dog and a 123 MB. I currently own a W201 190D, a W108 280 SEL, and a 1988 Toyota corolla. I'd like to buy a '80's chevy pickup or a 123 wagon to replace the Toyota.

How hard is it to find good older MB's way up there in the rust belt? Honestly, we use salt on the roads here in OKC too, and as a consequence, we also have our share of rust buckets. You've got to get south of Dallas, TX to find good rust free cars and there, the interior will be smoked.

I bought it in Florida last xmas and left it down there. I went on vacation about 3 weeks ago and brought it back with me. Ran great and didnt use a drop of oil.

Dunno, if I'll drive the piss outta' it or sell it.

I totally agree that you need to go south to get a nice rust free MB. There are plenty of them down there. The A/C on mine doesnt work but up here in Michigan it's not a necessity.
