Solvent for intake carbon?

Has anyone found a solvent that will clean the carbon out of the intake? Now that I have my EGR out of business I would like to clean out the intake. I hate the thought of the engine inhaling a glob of this stuff.

I may be way off here ( but it WILL be the FIRST time ).... but I suspect that the best and maybe only way to dislodge that is with force, hopefully while a vacuum suction is near....
Burnt carbon is on its way to becoming a Diamond. ... and does not need other stuff to stick it together... stuff which might be accessable to solvents , for instance.... the only times I have had to deal with carbon it took scrapers, wire brushes,or grinding wheels to deal with it. Only the first two might be appropriate here.. would not get any abrasive powder upstream of the cylinders....although with care and proper equipment it could be done just fine..
