Compressor

Go to your local NAPA store and request Genuine Air compressor. They are made by Four Season. You shouldn't pay more than 115.00-120.00 If "no luck" write to me and I'll sell you one. I work for NAPA... pmi1@ix.netcom.com

Hope this helps... BTW, I've just purchased one for my fun car '82 300D

The R4 compressor is not one that rebuilds well. I've been there, done that with rebuilt ones. You should buy a new one if it is an R4.

BTW, on the air conditioning forums they call Four Seasons rebuilt compressors "Four Siezin's."

Stay with new if you're unfortunate enough to have an a/c with an R4 compressor.

Good luck,

Thanks

Thanks guys:
The NAPA one is a rebuilt one its not New. Also Found out from other friends that 4 season is not that good. So I will stick to AC Delco Brand New from Rick in TX. for 239/- its still cheaper than that of any Japanese car or even some of the late 90's GM cars.

Thanks for all your info folks.

I know autozone sells new AC delco compressors...

I've got them in the past and they should be around $200. Takes 2-3 days and it comes direct from a GM warehouse to your local store.
